Prikka Strip

Prikka Strip is the effective, low-cost deterrent against unwelcome intruders. It fits to tops of fences, gates, pipes, walls and sills etc. Prikka is designed to deliver maximum discomfort, but minimum harm. Prikka's unique multi-hinge design allows easy fixiing to angled surfaces. It's easy to use, and Prikka Strip can be screwed, nailed or glued. To increase the effectiveness of this product we suggest fitting it side by side to increase the effectiveness on walls, sills and ledges.

Prikka Strip is made from polypropylene in a range of colours, Prikka Strip is weatherproof and durable, re-usable and recyclable. (Please Note Many glues and adhesives will not adhere to polypropylene - screwing or nailing is recommended (external quality butyl and solvent based sealants/adhesives perform reasonably well). Silicone, bitumen, acrylic and water soluble (nail adhesives are NOT recommended). The base of Prikka Strip should be scored or roughened with an abrasive to provide a key for the adhesive.

Screwing/Nailing
Prikka Strip can be screwed or nailed (rustproof) using the holes provided (more holes can be drilled it needed).

Trimming
Trim to size using a suitanle saw. Curves and bends can be formed by immersing in very hot water. Prikka Strip can also be easily cut to a double or single row strip ising the hinge grooves as a guide.

Gluing
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust.

Technical Specifications
Prikka Strip is a triple row of pointed cones, moulded from polypropylene with excellent UV weathering resistance. The points are staggered for maximum effect. Each strip is 500mm long, 45mm wide and 15mm high which delivers maximum deterrent but minimum harm. The unique double-hinge design allows it to be formed neatly on fence tops, pipes and other irregular surface.

Caution, Sharpe Points
Use great care when unpacking, fitting or cleaning this product. Keep and fit away from the reach of children. If the points are too sharp for your intended use, simply blunt them using a rasp/file or a coarse abrasive sanding sheet.

Customers must satisfy themselves that no harm will be caused by this product and should display a warning notice advising that an anti-intruder devices has been fitted.

Prikka Strip is recommended by Police Crime Prevention Officers and they recommend the use of Prikka Strip.
